Varsity Semifinalist at National Speech Championship
Three BCFU team members traveled to the National Speech Championship in Lincoln, NE, on March 24-25. Junior Avery James was a national semifinalist in Program Oral Interpretation. BCFU enjoyed their time at their first NSC tournament Berry has gone to. The last tournament of the season is the Interstate Oratorical Association National Championship on April 28-29. BCFU Spring Break: Novice National Champions
While they could have gone to the beach for Spring Break, 14 first year members of BCFU instead traveled to Suffolk University in Boston to compete in the Novice Nationals Forensics Association National Tournament on March 9-11. After three difficult days of competition, the team had an unprecedented 27 national finalists and a team National Championship.
